MTrec’s prestigious manufacturing client is looking to recruit a machine operator to join their growing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to expand their knowledge and skills within an industry-leading employer

This role is available to work either a 2 or 3 shift pattern.

If you have experience of machine operation within a fast moving or technical environment,

The Job you will do:

• Operating a range of specialist machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Setting up, loading and running equipment in line with job requirements
• Carrying out a variety of processing, finishing and preparation tasks
• Checking completed work against specifications and quality standards, and reporting any issues
• Completing manual finishing, preparation and packing tasks ready for dispatch
• Keeping equipment and the work area clean, organised, safe and well maintained
• Working efficiently to deadlines and coordinating with colleagues across different teams
• Following procedures and maintaining consistent standards throughout the production process

About you:

• A good eye for detail and pride in producing accurate, clean work
• Reliable, punctual and happy to work as part of a small team
• Comfortable on your feet and happy working in a hands-on and physical role
• Able to follow written instructions and work to deadlines
• Willing to learn, ask questions and take on new machines over time
• Flexible on shifts and available for overtime when workloads are busy
