A Chartered accountancy practice in Nottingham is seeking an Audit Semi-Senior to join their experienced team. This mainly audit-focused role offers exposure to a diverse client portfolio, with opportunities to gain experience in accounts and tax, creating a well-rounded practice position.

Salary & Benefits:

• Circa £28,000 – £32,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualification progress
• Full-time, 37.5 hours/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or assist on audit assignments across diverse sectors
• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Compile business tax computations and schedules
• Support a portfolio of clients with financial and tax queries year-round
• Occasionally assist with management accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT returns
• Recommend accounting software solutions to clients
• Deliver exceptional client service through general office duties

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ recent practice experience, ideally in audit or multi-disciplinary roles
• AAT qualified or finalist, or started ACCA/ACA studies
• Strong commercial awareness and deadline-driven mindset
• Clean driving licence and access to a car for client visits
• Proficiency in IRIS and audit software systems
• Experience managing a varied client portfolio
