We are looking for an experienced Bakery Operations Assistant to join a busy, well-established bakery in North London.
This is a hands-on role combining bakery operations, food preparation, product handling and customer service. You will need to be comfortable supporting all areas of the bakery during busy periods.
THE ROLE
Assist with the daily running of a busy bakery.
Prepare, package and display freshly baked products.
Serve customers, take orders and operate the till.
Support food preparation and general bakery duties.
Replenish stock and maintain attractive product displays.
Keep workstations, equipment and service areas clean and organised.
Maintain excellent food hygiene and allergen standards.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in a bakery, café, deli or food retail environment is essential.
Confident handling food and assisting with bakery operations.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable working across different areas of the bakery.
Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
Reliable, flexible and hardworking.
Available for an immediate start.
