Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with their learning and development and making a positive difference in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with their learning, both individually and in small groups.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging classroom activities.
• Provide additional support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Help promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage pupils to build confidence, independence and social skills.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Experience supporting children with SEND is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, caring and proactive approach.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
• Willingness to complete relevant safeguarding and background checks.
