VANRATH is recruiting a Contracts Manager (Energy) for a key organisation within Northern Ireland’s energy infrastructure. This is a specialist role within the Networks team, preparing and managing connection contracts for strategically significant projects connecting to the transmission system, including large-scale generation, energy storage and demand technologies.
You will work closely with customers, industry stakeholders and internal teams to deliver a high-quality connection process while contributing to the development of connection and charging policy.

- Belfast based, hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of complex connection projects, acting as the key point of contact for customers connecting to the transmission system
- Prepare and manage Connection Offers, Transmission Use of System (TUoS) offers and Connection Agreements
- Monitor contractual compliance across all parties
- Contribute to the development of connections and charging policies in collaboration with external stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including network operators, regulators and government departments
- Prepare and present papers for senior management and external audiences
- Drive continuous improvement of contracts and processes
What You’ll Need
- Degree in a business, technical or legal discipline with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
- Strong customer and stakeholder relationship skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
- Project management or contract management experience is desirable
- Experience within a regulated utility environment and/or understanding of the electricity industry would be a distinct advantage
