Protection & Control Design Engineer – BESS Projects

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Protection and Control Design Engineer to join our Battery Energy Storage System team in Leeds. You will develop protection schemes for HV networks and interface with TO/DNO substations, delivering safe and reliable BESS protection.

You will prepare AC/DC schematics, relay logic and coordination studies, and work with installation teams to ensure design integrity. A degree in Electrical Engineering and proven HV protection experience are preferred.
