Robertson is recruiting a Pre Construction Commercial Manager in Stirling to support bids through to contract award.
The work includes:
- payment applications and assessments
- certification
- monthly cost reporting
The manager will handle several tenders or projects and help directors secure further work.
Responsibilities include:
- checking commercial submissions
- assessing design and specification efficiencies
- maintaining cost information
The post also covers:
- profit and programme projections
- the transfer of commercial information to delivery teams
Bid status is reported weekly to the Bid Manager and monthly to the Board. Reviewing completed bids and applying the resulting lessons are part of the role. The employer requests relevant professional qualifications and substantial quantity-surveying or estimating experience with a major contractor or developer; degree-level education is preferred.
Estimating-system experience, commercial leadership, communication skills and a valid driving licence are required. Experience across construction sectors, including residential work, is preferred. Pre-employment screening includes references.
