Property Litigation Solicitor – Hertfordshire/Essex/Cambridge

Overview

As Property Litigation Solicitor, you will handle a diverse caseload and provide strategic advice to developers, investors and landlords. You will appear in court and mediation settings, safeguarding clients’ interests and keeping abreast of evolving property litigation law. You will join a leading firm with multiple East of England offices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape outcomes for commercial property clients and develop senior-level practice within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse property litigation caseload (e.g., landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals, dilapidations, possession claims)
• Represent clients in court proceedings and mediations
• Provide high-quality legal advice to property developers, investors and commercial landlords
• Keep up-to-date with changes in property litigation law and ensure regulatory compliance
• Review and advise on property litigation documentation
• Attend court hearings and negotiations on behalf of clients
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions
• Liaise with clients and third parties

Key requirements

• Qualified solicitor with 6+ years PQE in property litigation
• Strong experience across a broad range of property litigation matters
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and provide strategic client advice
• Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills
