CIVIL ENGINEER

Overview

In this role you apply civil infrastructure expertise to deliver multiple projects across roads, drainage, and external works from concept to completion. You will work within a Nottingham team under a well-established consulting firm, tackling challenging设计 problems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The position offers progression and development within a UK-wide portfolio of assignments. You’ll shape drainage and transport solutions that balance technical quality with value for money.

Responsibilities

• Preliminary and detailed design of roads, levels, drainage, and external works (public and private realms)
• Lead or contribute to multiple projects simultaneously across transport and infrastructure
• Coordinate with internal teams and external bodies (planning authorities, statutory undertakers, Environment Agency)
• Perform Flood Risk Assessments, Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, and Hydraulic Modelling
• Engage in multi-disciplinary project understanding and multidisciplinary roles on projects

Key requirements

• Proficient using Flow or InfoDrainage
• Experience liaising with planning authorities, statutory bodies, and national organisations
• Understanding multi-disciplinary project life cycle from planning to completion
• Experience in Flood Risk Assessments, SUDS, Foul and Storm Water Drainage, and Hydraulic Modelling
