Responsibilities

• Oversee projects of varying complexity, provide technical guidance and mentorship
• Provide technical leadership for civil projects; may serve as Engineer-of-Record
• Perform Project Management and/or Project Technical Lead duties on multi-team projects
• Manage client accounts and pursue business development, including scope and budget development
• Support marketing, proposals, client interviews, and contract negotiations in British Columbia
• Lead project coordination meetings with internal teams, consultants, owners, and contractors
• Conduct QA/QC on own projects and peers projects

Key requirements

• 15+ years of experience in civil engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia (or able to obtain EGBC registration)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Strong understanding of civil systems, design methods, codes, and Metro Vancouver standards
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of design and construction tools
• Experience leading teams through all project phases; strong communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil3D, PCSWMM, StormCAD, WaterCAD, REVIT is a plus
