Residential Property Lawyer (6+ PQE) – Bath

Overview

In this role you will manage a busy residential conveyancing caseload within a well-regarded regional firm. You will handle sales, purchases, remortgages and equity transfers while nurturing client and referrer relationships. The position sits in a collaborative team that values client service and knowledge sharing, supported by conveyancing assistants. Responsibilities

• Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
• Advising on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Advising on remortgages
• Advising on transfers of equity
• Handling other residential property matters
• Building and maintaining client and referrer relationships
• Supporting networking and business development activities
• Sharing technical knowledge and contributing to team success

Key requirements

• Solcitors, Licensed Conveyancers or Chartered Legal Executives with a minimum of 6 years PQE/equivalent in residential property
• Confident managing a busy conveyancing caseload independently
• Strong technical knowledge across residential conveyancing
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Proven business development and networking abilities
• Ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues and professional contacts
• Proactive, adaptable and committed to high standards
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues (desirable)
