Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead financial and commercial activities for a major residential masterplan project. You will work within the development team to secure and manage consultants and contractors for infrastructure works, aligning procurement with the scheme’s S278 and drainage requirements. You’ll engage with client-side development, supporting planning and delivery on a 3000-unit site. Responsibilities

• Procure and manage consultants and contractors for S278 and drainage infrastructure
• Coordinate delivery of infrastructure works (roads, utilities) on the masterplan project
• Support procurement strategy and contract administration for the development
• Engage with planning processes and delivery teams to progress detailed planning consent
• Manage commercial aspects to support project milestones and budgets

Key requirements

• Experience working for a Developer or Consultant (client-side)
• Understanding of greenfield/strategic sites and infrastructure design complexities
• Familiarity with roads, S278, drainage and utilities within housing schemes
• Knowledge of housing types and building applications
