Job Description:
SSE’s Protection Planning Engineer role sits within the In-House Delivery and System Modelling team to support the Southern Distribution Network. You’ll work on protection coordination studies, develop relay settings and provide expert guidance across the 6.6kV to 132kV spectrum.
The successful candidate will carry out load flow, short circuit and protection studies using DIgSILENT or similar tools, review designs, and produce high-quality reports while travelling regularly across locations.
