Role Overview

We’re recruiting on behalf of our global client for a site-based Data Centre Supervisor to oversee daily Moves, Adds & Changes (MAC) activities, Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations, and cabling infrastructure support in a high-availability, 24/7 data centre environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise MAC and BAU cabling activities, including copper/fibre installations, testing, and decommissioning.
• Manage shift coverage, daily workload allocation, and engineering resource scheduling.
• Monitor SLA performance, enforce site safety and quality compliance, and escalated operational risks.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Assist with incident management, first-line technical support, fault finding, and asset tracking.

Requirements Essential

• Proven supervisory experience within a Data Centre MAC operational environment.
• Extensive hands‑on background in copper and fibre structured cabling installation, testing, and fault diagnosis.
• Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, ticketing systems, and formal service delivery workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to manage third-party vendors and supervise shifts in live, 24/7 environments.

Preferred

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., BICSI, CDCTP, CDCMP, ITIL, CompTIA Server+, CCNA).
• Previous experience within enterprise or corporate banking data centre environments
