We are seeking a reliable HGV 1 Tramper (Nights) to join our team, working Sunday to Thursday nights, average 12 hours a shift.
n
As an HGV 1 Tramper (Nights), you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all regulations and company policies.
n
This role requires flexibility, all parking is paid via snap account.
n
The job is mainly depot to depot tramping and trailer swaps with no handball required.
n
All trucks are new and fully equipped with fridges and microwaves.
n
Responsibilities
n
- n
- Operate HGV 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all road traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-journey checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues via an app.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.

Qualifications

- n
- Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in driving.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
