Were looking for a creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated Marketing & Social Media Content Creator to join McIvor Truckmixers Ltd on a part-time basis.
McIvor Truckmixers Group operates within the truck mixer and concrete industry, and were looking for someone who can get involved in the businesses, understand what we do and turn the day-to-day activity around our companies into engaging content.
This is a hands-on role. Youll be encouraged to get out around the workshop and yard, capture whats happening, speak with the team and find interesting ways to showcase our products, people and projects.
The Role
Youll take responsibility for helping develop and maintain our online presence, particularly across social media.
Your work will include:
- Creating engaging photo and video content for social media
- Filming and editing short-form videos and reels
- Managing and regularly updating our social media channels
- Planning a consistent content calendar
- Photographing new truck mixers, builds, deliveries and behind-the-scenes activity
- Creating content around our team, customers and day-to-day operations
- Writing captions and marketing copy that fit the Mc Ivor Group brand
- Helping generate ideas for campaigns and promotional content
- Supporting updates to our website and other digital marketing where required
- Monitoring engagement and identifying which content performs best
- Helping us continue to build awareness of the McIvor Group brand
Who Were Looking For
Were more interested in creativity, initiative and the quality of your work than a particular qualification.
You should be someone who:
- Enjoys creating content and has a good eye for what works on social media
- Is comfortable taking photos and shooting video
- Can edit short-form video content
- Can work independently and come up with your own ideas
- Has good written communication skills
- Is organised and able to plan content ahead
- Is comfortable working around a busy engineering/manufacturing environment
- Is willing to learn about our products and industry
Experience with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, along with tools such as Canva and video-editing software, would be beneficial.
Previous marketing or content creation experience is an advantage, but wed also be interested in hearing from someone building their career who can demonstrate creativity through their own social media, portfolio or previous projects.
