Associate / Senior Associate Solicitor, Commercial Real Estate,Belfast
Our client, a highly regarded and established law firm, is seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join its Belfast office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded property lawyer to take on a varied and high-quality caseload, advising an impressive client base across both Northern Ireland and England & Wales. The successful candidate will play a key role within a well-established team, working on a broad range of commercial real estate matters while enjoying genuine opportunities for career progression.
The Role
You will advise on a diverse portfolio of commercial property transactions, acting for a range of clients including developers, investors, lenders, occupiers and corporate entities. The work will span both Northern Ireland and England & Wales jurisdictions, offering exposure to complex and high-value matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
- Landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations and renewals
- Property aspects of corporate and banking transactions
- Development and regeneration projects
- Real estate finance work
- Asset management and portfolio transactions
- Providing strategic, commercial advice to clients across a range of sectors
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 yrs PQE, admitted in either NI and/or E&W
- Ideally, previous experience in commercial real estate gained within a reputable practice, that said the firm would also be open to considering ambitious candidates offering previous residential conveyancing experience.
- The ability to manage a workload independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Excellent client relationship and business development skills
- Strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- A desire to contribute to the continued growth and success of the team
