About you
- At least 1 year’s catering experience, including responsibility for cooking
- Strong organisational skills and attention to hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently and support team operations
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
What you’ll do
- Assist with preparing and opening the canteen, training restaurant, and kitchens, ensuring readiness for service
- Operate catering equipment safely and efficiently
- Support lecturing staff and students in using resources professionally and safely
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all catering spaces in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Help set up and clear events, exhibitions, and displays
