About the Role As a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will: Deliver alcoholic products from our customer sites to RDCs, retail outlets, and warehouse locations across the UK.

Complete out-and-back delivery routes, planning journeys efficiently to ensure all deliveries are made on time.
n
Provide a high standard of customer service, communicating professionally with customers both in person and over the phone.
n
Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage.
n
Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
n
Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
n
Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
n
Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
n
Rota is flexible and offered on a weekly basis, with drivers contacted in advance to confirm availability.
n
This is a zero/casual hours arrangement to support peak periods, annual leave and unplanned absences.

Essential Skills and Qualifications Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence.
n
Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
n
