Outbreach is looking for three Sales Managers to sell incident response, forensics, advisory and readiness services into new and existing clients. Two seats are UK based and one is focused on the GCC. You would be selling into a market with real urgency behind it. Some clients come to us mid incident, some come through their insurer or their lawyer, and the best of them come before anything has gone wrong and put a retainer in place. We are NCSC Cyber Incident Response Assured, which opens doors that are closed to most of the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Ownership: Own a territory and a number, and build the pipeline to hit it.
- Service Selling: Sell incident response retainers, readiness engagements, security posture reviews and our productised services.
- Referral Network: Develop relationships with brokers, insurers, law firms and managed service providers in your patch.
- Emergency Enquiries: Handle inbound emergency enquiries commercially and quickly, including out of hours, and hand over cleanly to delivery.
- Scoping: Scope engagements with the delivery team so that proposals are accurate and deliverable.
- Proposals: Write and own proposals, and support formal tender responses.
- Pipeline Hygiene: Keep the CRM accurate enough that the forecast means something.
- Retainer Conversion: Convert one-off incident work into retained relationships.
- Representation: Represent Outbreach at industry events and in front of clients.
Skills and Experience:
- Track Record: Proven delivery against a new business number in cyber security or technical professional services.
- Consultative Selling: Nobody buys incident response from a script.
- Technical Literacy: Enough depth to hold a credible conversation with a CISO or an IT director.
- Partner Selling: Experience selling through partners and referral relationships as well as direct.
- Self Direction: You would be building a territory rather than working a list.
- Commercial Judgement: Sound judgement on scope and price, and the discipline to walk away from bad work.
- Eligibility: Right to work in the UK or the UAE, depending on the seat.
Highly Desirable (But Not Essential):
- Incident response, forensics or managed security sales experience.
- Existing broker, insurer or law firm relationships.
- Public sector or framework selling experience.
- For the GCC seat, established UAE market presence and Arabic language skills.
- Experience selling retainers or subscription services.
Emergency enquiries do not keep office hours, so all three seats carry some out of hours availability. We are open to permanent or freelance arrangements and will discuss commission structure at interview.
