Mechanical Design Engineer (Humanoid Structures)

Design the structural and mechanical assemblies of the humanoid, including the graphene-infused materials used across the platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce CAD, drawings and tolerance stacks for structural and housing assemblies.
• Run FEA on load paths, stiffness and fatigue; iterate toward mass targets.
• Own design for manufacture and assembly with the production team.
• Support prototype builds and drive design changes from build feedback.

Requirements: Mechanical design to production; strong CAD and GD&T; FEA; composites or advanced materials experience welcome; DFM/DFA in a volume environment.

Salary: Salary on application

The Manchester factory comes online Q1 2027. Roles are recruited ahead of that date, with start dates agreed individually.
