HGV Technician Night Shift West Thurrock

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Heavy Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealer workshop in West Thurrock.

Applicants must hold a Level 3 HGV qualification or equivalent, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: West Thurrock, EssexSalary: £62,400 basic (£30.00 per hour)OTE: £70,000Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00pm 6:30am | 40 hours per weekOvertime: Time and a halfRef:31541

HGV Technician Role

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
• Complete repairs efficiently and to required quality standards
• Work in line with workshop procedures and safety standards
• Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
• Ensure vehicles meet required safety and maintenance standards
• Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the workshop

HGV Technician Requirements

• Level 3 HGV qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Heavy Vehicle Technician
• Strong HGV servicing, maintenance and repair knowledge
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience using computer-aided diagnostic equipment
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Main dealer experience is advantageous
