Production Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a highly regulated environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-focused Production Manager who thrives on developing teams, driving operational performance and embedding a culture of Continuous Improvement.

The business is looking for a strong leader who can motivate, engage and develop people while ensuring high standards of safety, quality and productivity are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and develop production teams, creating a positive, high-performing culture.
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives across productivity, efficiency, quality and waste reduction.
• Take ownership of day-to-day production performance, ensuring operational targets and KPIs are achieved.
• Coach and develop team leaders and supervisors, encouraging accountability and continuous development.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to improve overall manufacturing performance.
• Champion Lean manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, optimise resources and deliver sustainable operational improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership position.
• Ideally, experience within Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong people management skills with a genuine passion for coaching, mentoring and developing teams.
• Demonstrable experience delivering Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or similar methodologies.
• A track record of improving manufacturing performance, productivity, quality and operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A hands-on, approachable leadership style with the ability to engage people at all levels.
