Kitchen Team Member Carrickfergus Premier Inn
This isnt just about cooking.
Youll help prepare, cook and serve meals that become part of someones stay at Premier Inn because a good meal can make a great stay even better.
One minute you could be preparing breakfast before guests wake up. The next youll be helping the team through a busy dinner service.

Pay, hours and location
Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour
Contract: Permanent we dont do zero-hours contracts.
Hours: 15-25 contracted hours per week. Over 18’s only due to start and finish times.
Location: Alexandra Pier, Rodgers Quay, Carrickfergus Belfast, Northern Ireland, BT38 8BE
Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods. Over 18’s only due to start and finish times.
What youll do
As a Kitchen Team Member youll help make sure every guest gets a meal theyll enjoy. Youll:
- Prepare ingredients before service starts
- Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
- Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
- Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
- Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
- Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right
This isn’t a role where youll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.
Youll be part of a team thats working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.
You dont need hotel experience
Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.
If youre willing to learn, well teach you the rest.
You might have worked as a:
- Catering Assistant
- Barista
- Kitchen Porter
- Retail Assistant
- Warehouse Operative
This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.
What matters most is that you’re reliable, enjoy working with others and dont mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
