Solutions Architect

Solution Architect | Contract | Inside IR35

I’m currently looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support a large-scale business change and technology transformation environment.

This is a broad, generalist architecture role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple systems, engaging with stakeholders and designing pragmatic, scalable solutions within an established enterprise technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document end-to-end solution architectures across multiple business domains.
• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable and fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
• Define application integration approaches, APIs and system interfaces.
• Work closely with architecture, engineering, cloud, infrastructure and security teams.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, design principles and governance processes.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design through to delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within a large enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and system integration.
• Experience designing solutions spanning multiple applications, systems and business functions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business and technical teams.
• Experience with architecture governance, design reviews and enterprise standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Azure integration services and frameworks.
• API-led architecture and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Experience working with cloud, infrastructure and security teams.
• Involvement in large-scale transformation or business change programmes.
