Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant (Specimen Reception) based at Southport Hospital. The role is NHS AfC Band 2, permanent, with 37.5 hours per week (plus 30 hours options) and shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

You’ll receive and log samples, enter data into Telepath/Laboratory Information System, perform pre-analytical processing and support biomedical staff while delivering accurate results and patient care
