Laboratory Animal Technician — Research Care & Welfare

Mary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell is seeking a hands-on Animal Care Assistant to ensure high standards of husbandry and to perform procedures under the Animals (SPS) Act. You will maintain cages, monitor health, keep records, and follow SOPs, contributing to advancing medical research.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and willingness to work overtime to cover animal requirements. On-site at Harwell, 36 hours/week, fixed term until 31 March 2028.
