As the business enters its next stage of growth, it is looking to appoint its first Finance Manager. This is a newly created role offering genuine autonomy and the opportunity to build and develop the finance function, introducing robust systems, processes and reporting to support the Directors as the business continues to grow.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Directors, you will have a broad and hands-on remit covering management accounts, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting, working capital and financial controls, alongside VAT, payroll, tax and statutory reporting. You will also manage relationships with external accountants, advisers and banking partners and provide commercial analysis around profitability, margins, pricing and performance.
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in an SMEmanufacturing environment and is comfortable taking ownership. You will be pragmatic, hands-on and confident working alongside senior management, providing both insight and constructive challenge.
