Part-Time Commercial Property Lawyer

A small, owner-led property investment and development business is seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer to join its in-house legal team on a part-time basis.

The business operates across a diverse portfolio, including residential, social housing, healthcare, and offices, offering exposure to a broad range of property and commercial legal matters.

This role would suit someone looking for a part-time opportunity alongside other commitments, or someone operating on a consultancy basis.

The Role:

Working closely with the General Counsel and wider business stakeholders, responsibilities will include:

• Commercial property and conveyancing matters




• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts




• Housing association-related work




• NDAs and confidentiality agreements




• Service Level Agreements (SLAs)




• Facility agreements and lender documentation




• General commercial legal support




• Advising on matters leading up to potential disputes

About You:

• Newly Qualified Solicitor through to c.4 years’ PQE (experienced Paralegals will also be considered)




• Relevant commercial property experience




• Experience gained in-house or within private practice




• Comfortable working independently and supporting a broad range of property and commercial legal matters




• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Package:

• Part-time role (currently 1 day per week)




• Full-time equivalent salary of approximately £70,000-£90,000




• Broad and varied workload
