Job Title: Site Manager – Civil Engineering

Location: Oxenton just outside Cheltenham

Day Rate: 350pd CIS or Limited Company

Role Highlights & Packages:

• 6 month contract

• Full civils package including drainage, ducting, roads, footways, 4m diameter chambers, deep excavations and more
• Opportunity to work on the water/sewerage network
• Strong civil engineering experience essential; water/STW experience would be ideal

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a 6-month project in Oxenton, just outside Cheltenham. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, ideally combined with experience in water and sewage treatment works. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor
• Strong civils/construction background
• Water network expeirence
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades
• Good understanding of site health & safety requirements
• SMSTS and CSCS

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily site operations and site teams
• Manage subcontractors and site operativesMonitor programme, progress and quality
• Ensure RAMS, permits and site documentation are maintained
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, engineers and client representatives
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and relevant standards
