We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and qualified Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer to join our team. This is an employed position for someone who enjoys supporting members on the gym floor and wants to deliver high-quality personal training while building a long-term career with a growing brand.
The Role
You will combine day-to-day fitness instructor responsibilities with the delivery of one-to-one personal training. You will be visible and approachable on the gym floor, help members train safely and confidently, and deliver tailored PT sessions that support measurable progress.
- Deliver high-quality gym inductions and help new members feel confident using the facilities.
- Maintain a visible, approachable and motivating presence on the gym floor.
- Provide friendly, professional fitness advice, including support with technique, equipment use and general training guidance.
- Deliver high-quality one-to-one personal training sessions as part of your employed role.
- Create tailored training programmes based on each member’s goals, ability and experience.
- Support PT clients with technique, motivation, accountability and ongoing progress.
- Follow up suitable PT leads and member enquiries provided through the club.
- Build strong member relationships and confidently explain the benefits of personal training.
- Support member challenges, events, inductions, group sessions and club initiatives where required.
- Help maintain a clean, safe and premium gym environment.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver an excellent member experience.
- Represent Novo Gyms professionally and uphold high standards of service, conduct and presentation.
What We’re Looking For
- A recognised Personal Training qualification, with the appropriate Fitness Instructor/Gym Instructor qualification or equivalent.
- A genuine passion for fitness, health and helping others succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, confident and approachable personality.
- The ability to motivate and support members of all fitness levels.
- Confidence in delivering PT sessions, creating programmes and building strong client relationships.
- A professional attitude, strong work ethic and proactive approach.
- Reliability, punctuality and pride in maintaining high standards.
- A willingness to learn, develop and grow with the business.
- CPR/AED or First Aid certification is preferred, or a willingness to obtain it.
