Become an integral part of a newly refurbished independent cinema business and help deliver a consistent high-quality experience to every customer within a demanding, fastpaced profession.
The Atrium Cinema is looking for enthusiastic and friendly staff members who are over 18 years old, to help prepare food for our luxury screens and work front of house behind a bar and serving customers.
As a Cinema Food Preparation and Front of House Assistant, you will be integral to delivering an exceptional guest experience in our luxury cinema, which is due to open in November. Your core skills in food preparation and safety will ensure high-quality food service, although training will be provided. You will handle till operations and cash transactions while maintaining a hospitable environment, and experience in this is preferred.
Your outgoing and confident demeanour and previous experience in working in hospitality will enhance our patrons’ enjoyment, and your excellent customer interaction skills and positive approach to the service industry will make you a vital part of our team in a fast-paced setting where customer satisfaction is paramount.
You will be consistently available to work regular evening and weekend shifts, and will be keen to pick up extra work at peak and busy times, such as school holidays. All training will take place from September at our sister site, The Picture House Cinema and Restaurant in Uckfield and all candidates must be able to independently travel there for training shifts.
Responsibilities include:
• Providing excellent hospitality and customer service to enhance the guest experience.
• Food preparation and cooking, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Serving cocktails and other alcoholic drinks
• Taking orders inside the auditorium and running trays of hot food and drinks to the seats
• Assist with maintaining stock levels, which involves carrying stock up and down stairs
• Selling advanced bookings with accuracy, operating the till and handling cash transactions without error.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and front of house areas.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and timely food delivery.
• Assisting with customer queries and complaints
