Flexible working arrangements, including job share, will be considered
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to join the Integrated Alcohol Service in Aberdeen City.
Are you an experienced mental health nurse with an interest in working with people experiencing complex alcohol-related difficulties?
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic nurse with strong mental health and risk assessment skills and an understanding of the complexities of alcohol use and mental health.
The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in working with people who use alcohol and are seeking help and support. You should be able to demonstrate a person-centred, non-judgemental approach and an ability to engage individuals whose needs may be complex.
The role will provide an opportunity to work within a specialist service as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, contributing to assessment, care planning and ongoing support to help people achieve meaningful outcomes.
The post is available on a full-time basis at 36 hours per week. In line with NHS Scotland’s commitment to flexible working, requests for flexible working arrangements, including job share, will be considered for the right candidate.
A driving licence is not essential for this post. However, the role may occasionally require you to undertake home visits, and applicants should be able to meet this requirement.
We welcome applications from individuals who are enthusiastic about developing their knowledge and skills within alcohol services and who can bring strong mental health nursing skills to the team.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
