Caritas Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Children’s MASH Social Worker to join a busy and supportive Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced social worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families at the earliest point of intervention.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake effective screening and assessment of referrals.
• Gather and analyse information from partner agencies to inform decision-making.
• Identify levels of risk and need, ensuring appropriate safeguarding measures are in place.
• Make timely recommendations and decisions regarding next steps for children and families.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes.

Requirements

• Social Work England registration.
• Qualified Social Worker with post-qualification experience within Children’s Services.
• Previous MASH, Front Door, Assessment, or Safeguarding experience.
• Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency setting.
