Job Description:

When most agencies talk about independence as an ambition, this one has just earned it – a Bristol brand agency of some 35 years now has independent ownership. It’s a genuine inflexion point, and you’d arrive in the middle of it.

The agency is deliberately shifting its centre of gravity. A couple of years ago, communications work made up around 70% of the mix. This year it’s closer to 40%, with the stated goal of reaching 60% brand strategy and identity work, and you’d help shape that transition, not inherit it.

The Role

You’ll lead the agency’s highest-profile, highest-value projects from brief through to completion, acting as the senior strategic partner to client stakeholders across global brands. This is a commercial role as much as a client one. You’ll hold your own revenue budget, manage job margins, and carry real ownership of account profitability. Spot an opportunity and want to pursue it? You’ll have the permission – and the encouragement – to do so.

You’ll sit within a Client Services team of around 25, and you’ll mentor junior members of the team. The trajectory is clear: this role is the recognised pipeline to Account Director, with most current directors promoted from exactly this seat.

The Package

  • £50,000 – £55,000
  • Hybrid working
  • Profit-sharing bonus scheme
  • Professional development budget
  • 26 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, including an extra day for your birthday
  • Enhanced family leave policies
  • Employee Assistance Programme and volunteering days
  • Certified B Corp

The Person

You’re a Senior Account Manager inside a brand or design agency, several years into client services. You manage senior relationships, run budgets and margins, and understand brand strategy and identity work – not just the relationship side of it. You’re ready to lead accounts end-to-end and build direct client trust, and you want a clear runway to director level.
