At Gist, part of the M&S Group, we’re looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team at Crewe, helping us keep M&S stores stocked throughout the festive season and beyond.

The role at a glance
- Pay: £19.09 per hour + shift premiums
- Location: Crewe
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Experience: Minimum 18 months’ Class 1 driving experience

We Currently Have Opportunities Across The Following Working Patterns
- Fri – Mon AM ( start time between 0100-0400 )
- Fri – Mon EV ( start time between 1300-1600 )
- Sat – Wed AM ( start time between 0100-0400)
Additional shift premiums may apply depending on your working pattern.
Helping make Christmas happen
As one of our Class 1 Drivers, you’ll play an important part in delivering everything from everyday essentials to festive favourites, making sure products reach M&S stores safely and on time.
Your Day-to-day Will Include
- Completing planned deliveries to M&S stores
- Carrying out vehicle and safety checks
- Completing relevant delivery paperwork
- Working safely to planned schedules
- Keeping in touch with our transport team
- Representing Gist and M&S professionally

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for experienced, reliable drivers who take pride in their work and put safety first.
You’ll Need
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 18 months’ Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC
- A driving record that meets our safety and compliance standards
- A professional, safety-focused approach
- Confidence with manual handling where required
- Availability to work the advertised shifts
