Personal Assistant / Support Worker

We are looking for a kind, patient and reliable Personal Assistant / Support Worker to provide 1-to-1 support for a 9-year-old boy during the school holidays. About Him He enjoys:

• All ball games, including playing with bouncy balls and football
• Going to the park
• Watching Disney and CBeebies
• Trips to Costa and Greggs
• Water activities and being in a swimming pool, although he cannot swim
• Adult interaction and 1-to-1 attention, which brings him lots of enjoyment

Support Needs

• Struggles with verbal communication but has his own ways of communicating
• Likes routine and can become dysregulated if his routine changes
• Requires a high level of 1-to-1 attention and support
• Requires personal care, including support with nappy changes
• Previous experience would be useful but is not essential. A driving licence may be essential depending on where the successful applicant lives.
