An established London law firm is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Paralegal to join its established Residential Property team in Bromley.
This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a well-established law firm and gain further exposure to a broad range of residential property matters.
The Role
You will provide support to the residential conveyancing team across a varied caseload, assisting with matters from initial instruction through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting solicitors with a caseload of residential conveyancing matters
- Preparing and reviewing conveyancing documentation
- Carrying out property and title searches
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Assisting with exchange and completion
- Preparing completion statements and relevant documentation
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date matter files
- Conducting due diligence and ensuring compliance with firm procedures
- Providing general administrative and fee-earning support to the team
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience working within residential conveyancing
- Good knowledge of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
- A professional and client-focused approach
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Candidates who are working towards a CILEX qualification or SQE would also be welcomed.
