HGV Class II Driver – P/T

P/T Permanent HGV Class II Driver required for Lisburn

Hours of Work: Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: 8.00 am – 1.00 pm

Salary: £15.00 per hr

Duties will include:

• Safely operate 26-tonne milk tankers and 14-tonne rigid vehicles as required.
• Collect raw milk from farms and transport it in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Carry out pallet deliveries to customers and distribution centres.
• Load and unload goods safely and securely.
• Complete delivery and collection documentation accurately using a handheld device.
• Follow planned routes, collection times and delivery schedules.
• Maintain a friendly, professional and customer-focused approach.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
• Keep vehicles clean and ensure appropriate hygiene standards are maintained, particularly for milk tanker operations.
• Comply with all relevant road traffic legislation, drivers’ hours regulations, company policies and health and safety procedures.

Milk tanker training will be provided.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C driving licence.
• Valid (CPC) and digital tachograph card.
• A safe, responsible and professional approach to driving.
• Good timekeeping, reliability and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Desirable Experience

• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Experience with pallet deliveries and goods handling.
• Previous milk tanker or bulk liquid transport experience.
