Managing Director (UK) All Home Repairs 24/7 LTD
Chester | Full-time, permanent
Competitive salary, performance bonus and potential share options
About us
All Home Repairs 24/7 is an Uber-style home services business based in Chester. We help homeowners and landlords across the UK get fast, reliable help from trusted engineers when something goes wrong at home.
The business is growing fast, and in 2027 we open our first office overseas.
About the role
As the founders focus on international growth, we need someone we trust to take the UK business and run it as their own. You’ll have full responsibility for the UK contact centre operation, leading the management team and, through them, every agent on the floor. You’ll own everything from performance and people to strategy and growth, and you’ll work directly with the founders, with no layers in between.
Your job is to make the operation run better and grow bigger. That means finding efficiencies across the contact centre, scaling the business by enhancing our existing products, and spotting new opportunities to take us further.
You’ll also help shape our international plans, sharing what works in the UK as we open our first overseas office.
What the job involves
- Running the UK contact centre end to end, including resourcing, scheduling, service levels, quality and conversion
- Leading, developing and holding to account the contact centre managers, so the whole operation performs consistently
- Identifying and delivering efficiencies across processes, systems and ways of working
- Scaling and growing the business by enhancing existing products, including our Home Care Plans, and finding new revenue opportunities
- Growing our subscription base and recurring revenue
- Developing affiliate and partnership channels
- Owning the UK P&L and taking full accountability for commercial performance
- Reporting to the Board of Directors and shareholders on performance, forecasts, risks and progress
- Bringing financial discipline, strong MI and governance from your own experience
- Building a strong, accountable culture across the UK team
- Protecting and building the brand, making sure every customer gets a service worth recommending
- Helping shape how we grow internationally
About you
You must have proven contact centre operations management experience at a senior level, including managing managers and taking responsibility for a whole contact centre operation. You’ll know how to read the numbers behind an operation, find where time and money are being lost, and fix it.
You’ll probably come from banking, financial services or something just as commercially demanding. You’ll have senior leadership experience and be used to reporting to a board. You’ll know how to read a P&L, hold people to account and make decisions quickly.
You’ll have a track record of growing a business or operation, whether by improving existing products or finding new ones. You’ll be hands‑on and comfortable in a growing business, and you’ll be excited by the idea of leaving corporate life to help build something.
Experience in subscription businesses, partnerships, home services, insurance or property would be useful, but it isn’t essential.
What’s in it for you
- A competitive salary based on the experience you bring
- A performance bonus linked to business results
- Potential share options for the right person
- Additional benefits for the right candidate, to be discussed at interview
- Working directly with the founders as the business expands internationally
- Real room to grow your role as the company grows
