Royal Mail delivers mail and parcels across the nation ensuring every parcel reaches its destination safely. We’re looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to work as a Parcel Sorter in their busy Distribution Centre based in Atherstone for 4-5 weeks from Monday 16th November 2026.
These jobs are available for those that do not have transport to make their own way as a FREE coach will be provided from Birmingham City Centre for the expected 4-5 weeks working period.
Duties can include:
- Sorting parcels from a conveyor belt
- Sorting by region involving both numeric and alphabetical labels
- Loading parcels into York cages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Being on your feet for the whole shift and pulling cages so is physically demanding
- Always maintaining attention to detail
You must be available to work full time of 5 shifts per week and will involve weekends.
Shifts available:
• 06:00 – 14:00 Tuesday – Saturday
• 14:00 – 22:00 Monday – Friday
Additional shifts to be worked at weekends when required.
Pay Rates
- 06:00 – 14:00 @ £15.14 p/hr
- 14:00 – 22:00 @ £15.14 p/hr
- 2hrs per shift travel time paid for travelling by coach
- The coach meeting time will be 1.25hrs before shift start time (4.45am/12.45pm)
You will be required to go through a vetting process which includes a criminal background check along with Right to Work, proof of NI and ID documentation.
