Saleroom Assistant

Pertemps Swindon are recruiting for a Saleroom Assistant to join our auctioneer client near Cirencester, GL7.

• Permanent
• Up to £27,000 d.o.e
• Monday-Friday 09:30 – 17:30
• Increasing holiday entitlement for length of service
• 2 weeks off over festive period, paid 

About the Saleroom Assistant job 

• Unload, unpack and sort incoming items
• Carefully pack and prepare sold items for collection or delivery to purchasers
• Collect and prepare items for cataloguing, laying out and setting up sale rooms on auction days
• Assist customers with collection incoming and outgoing items as well as viewing items
• Drive company van to collect and deliver items from across the UK
• Ensure security on auction days as well as being a part of phone and internet banking

The right Saleroom Assistant candidate

• Proven customer service skills
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks on a regular basis
• Full UK Driving licence
• Willingness to learn while supporting multiple departments with in a team environment
• Excellent communicator with internal staff and customers both face to face and over the phone
