Senior Construction Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead renewable energy construction projects in Romania, coordinating a multi-technical team to deliver PV, onshore wind, and BESS facilities. You will work closely with subcontractors, regulators, and the purchasing function to manage risks, costs, and quality. You report to the project director and senior management, ensuring alignment with project goals and compliance requirements. This position offers impact across cross-border energy development, with a focus on delivering safe, compliant, and timely project execution. You will collaborate with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction of PV, onshore wind and BESS facilities
• Coordinate multifunctional teams and communicate with subcontractors
• Manage risks, resolve problems, and control costs, safety and quality
• Engage with public service companies and authorities on regulatory permits and compliance
• Coordinate with purchasing to secure necessary components
• Report to project director and senior management

Key requirements

• 5+ years of experience in managing solar projects including >10 MWp on land
• Knowledge of EPC processes, contract management and solar and wind technology
• Ability to manage complex projects and diverse stakeholders
• Fluency in English and Romanian
• Willingness to travel
