Clinical Trial Manager

Overview

In this role you will manage a portfolio of dermatology clinical trials, coordinating multi-site studies to deliver milestones. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of researchers, statisticians, and data managers to support dissemination of findings and drive translational outcomes. The position sits within an internationally renowned dermatology research centre, contributing to skin inflammation, cancer and rare skin diseases initiatives. You will operate on-site, shaping trial design and execution to enable personalized medicine in severe skin conditions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design, implementation and operation of clinical studies across participating sites
• Monitor and ensure delivery of studies to milestones and quality standards
• Develop trial materials, protocols, SOPs and guidance documents
• Support dissemination of research findings and engagement with stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including statisticians, data managers and trial managers
• Maintain regulatory approvals and safety reporting
• Contribute to portfolio management and operational planning

Key requirements

• Good first degree
• Masters in a relevant subject
• Proven experience of trials management including development, conduct and management of multi-centre studies
• Excellent project management skills and teamwork with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal and IT skills
• Good organisational skills with ability to work without direct supervision
• Excellent knowledge of key frameworks and regulations (GCP, Data Protection Act, UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research)
• Experience in developing protocols, operation manuals, SOPs or similar materials
• Experience maintaining regulatory approvals, annual reports and safety reporting
