Responsibilities

• Managing high-value personal injury claims from instruction to resolution or trial
• Developing case strategies and advancing litigation efficiently
• Instructing counsel and medical/technical experts
• Preparing for and attending Joint Settlement Meetings and ADR
• Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering excellent client care
• Ensuring files are managed in line with best practice and compliance
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members
• Sharing best practice and contributing to team performance
• Collaborating with colleagues across the wider department

Key requirements

• 5+ years PQE in Personal Injury litigation
• Strong experience handling multi-track, high-value claims
• Confidence managing cases valued between 250,000 – 1,000,000
• Excellent understanding of litigation procedure and strategy
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues (desirable)
• Excellent client care and communication skills
