Manager, SAP Ariba Public Sector Specialist, Technology & Transformation

Overview

As SAP Ariba Source to Pay Manager, you lead pre-sales shaping of procurement transformation roadmaps, build senior stakeholder relationships, and deliver SAP-enabled programmes across indirect and direct procurement. You’ll specialise in Ariba processes and integrate with S/4HANA and Finance/Supply Chain landscapes, while addressing PA2023 implications and public-sector portals. You’ll design end-to-end solutions, run workshops, and contribute to practice development. This role offers impactful work within a global, collaborative Deloitte team and hybrid London or Manchester-based work.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales conversations and shape procurement transformation roadmaps
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders
• Deliver SAP-enabled transformation programmes focusing on Ariba upstream/downstream Source to Pay
• Understand and apply Procurement Act 2023 implications and PA2023 requirements
• Leverage SAP Ariba with S/4HANA integration and MDG where relevant
• Ensure SAP Ariba aligns with public sector portals (FTS, G-Cloud, Crown Digital Platform)
• Develop and manage implementation plans to maximise SAP value while minimising risk
• Design end-to-end solutions following design principles and methodologies
• Lead client workshops on process design, industry best practices, and Source to Pay SME knowledge
• Support sales through practice development activities and capability building
• Facilitate design workshops, map business requirements and processes
• Manage stakeholder communications to ensure alignment on goals and timelines

Key requirements

• Excellent senior stakeholder management
• Experience delivering Ariba solutions as part of a transformation programme
• Expertise in SAP Ariba Sourcing Suite (Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, Supplier Risk Management) or Ariba Buying & Invoicing with SAP Business Network
• Experience implementing end-to-end SAP Ariba in public sector with PA2023 compliance and CDP integration
• Understanding of Ariba integration with S/4HANA and MDG
• Knowledge of supplier and content enablement strategies
• Ability to map buying channels with client benefits
• Awareness of SAP Ariba innovations and roadmaps
• Ability to provide SME input on Source to Pay processes
• Capability to communicate with clients, internal teams, and vendors throughout project lifecycle
