Project Engineer Electrical

Overview

In this role you will drive the delivery of a high-profile, large-scale electrical project within Tata Steel’s offshore initiatives. You’ll coordinate concept to completion processes, ensuring design, safety and environmental standards are met while engaging with diverse stakeholders. You’ll apply cutting-edge electrical engineering to help shape a greener, decarbonised future and create lasting impact on the business and industry. Responsibilities

• Create project plans and proposals to support and improve the business
• Oversee all stages from concept to final acceptance, ensuring standards are met
• Draft technical specifications and RFQs for OEMs and contractor partners
• Oversee project engineering activities to keep on time and on budget
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to solve problems
• Represent the company externally as a project ambassador

Key requirements

• Strong background in Heavy Industry
• Engineering degree (desirable Chartered Engineer status)
• Solid understanding of project management, risk assessment, and safety study methods
• Excellent communication skills
• High level of electrical engineering competency
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
