Overview
As a Commercial Lawyer with G4S UK & I, you will provide clear, practical legal guidance to support commercial operations and contract execution. You’ll work within a supportive legal team, collaborating with commercial colleagues to manage risk and ensure compliance. The role offers home-based working with occasional office/customer-site visits, and opportunities to impact contracting strategy for a global leader in security services. You will help drive compliant, high-quality commercial outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities
- Review, draft and negotiate contracts and proposals aligned with G4S standards, focusing on customer contracts
- Advise on commercial and legal risks and assist in mitigation
- Negotiate new contracts and amendments with customers
- Support the business in meeting contractual obligations
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to provide effective solutions
Key requirements
- Up to 6 years’ PQE as a solicitor (UK or Ireland)
- Solid understanding of contract and commercial law (England or Scotland)
- Excellent drafting skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team
