Lending Advisor – Senior Vice President

Overview

In this role, you help grow Citi’s Private Wealth lending coverage by advising UHNW clients on bespoke loan and refinancing options. You’ll partner with CPB bankers to identify opportunities, structure tailored financings, and drive best-in-class execution. You’ll work across asset classes—from complex securities to art and real assets—while maintaining strong controls and regulatory compliance. This is a cross-functional, growth-focused role that blends client advisory with risk-aware lending in a dynamic, global team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CPB Banker teams to identify lending opportunities through account planning
• Join client and prospect meetings to raise awareness of lending solutions
• Advise clients and Bankers on bespoke lending solutions and drive execution excellence
• Act as subject matter expert and first line of control for lending opportunities
• Collaborate with Underwriting and risk to pre-screen and structure bespoke loans
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline to grow the EMEA portfolio
• Ensure compliance with control standards and risk policies
• Coordinate with Business Managers and Finance to support growth planning and capital optimization

Key requirements

• UHNW lending origination experience in a private bank
• Expert knowledge in structured lending
• Ability to advise and creatively structure sophisticated loan solutions
• Experience assessing and structuring loans secured by diverse asset classes
• Strong oral and written communication skills
