Senior / Associate Cost Manager (MEP Cost Management) – Health & Life Science

In this role you will lead cost consultancy for large healthcare real estate projects from our London Engineering Services Real Estate team. You will drive feasibility, cost planning, procurement and post-contract activities, working with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes. You’ll mentor colleagues, promote safe practice, and ensure client satisfaction across public and private sectors. Responsibilities

• Lead cost consultancy activities: feasibility estimating, cost planning, procurement, tendering, value engineering, commercial management, dispute resolution and post‑contract administration
• Promote a safe and inclusive working environment and uphold company values

• Contribute to projects requiring technical evaluation, analysis and problem‑solving
• Provide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders

• Manage and oversee service delivery to achieve high‑quality client outcomes

Key requirements

• Proven track record delivering high‑quality cost management/quantity surveying in the MEP space
• Professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
• Degree or HNC level qualification
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects
• Experience delivering MEP elements of work for clients
• Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below)
• Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services
• Commercially astute with good negotiation skills
• Previous experience within Health or Life Sciences is preferable
